Aggregate is a concrete material used in the construction of buildings. Commonly utilized in brutalist architecture, it is not hiding what it is made out of. The internal workings are the exterior facade. The image is of a section of a Lamppost designed by Paul Rudolph.

With this photographic transfer process, there is a deconstruction and then a reassembly. It is a tedious process and requires lots of intentionality, structure and setup. It is in the revealing that the ruptures appear, the imperfections that make it human. --Raine
